  • BlueAnt Z9i (black)
The BlueAnt Z9i is a clear upgrade from the Z9, with better comfort, better sound quality, and an affordable price point.

  • BlueAnt Supertooth 3
The BlueAnt Wireless Supertooth 3 is an excellent choice for a portable car speakerphone, especially since it will read out incoming caller ID so you can keep your eyes on the road.

  • RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8110 - red (AT&T)
For AT&T customers who are constantly on the road or are a little directionally challenged, the RIM BlackBerry Pearl 8110 and its integrated GPS can help you keep on track.

  • Nokia N78 (unlocked)
As with all Nokia N series smartphones, the Nokia N78 impresses with its high-end features, especially the new geotagging tool, but we were slightly disappointed by the spotty call quality.

  • Tekkeon TekCharge MP1800
The Tekkeon TekCharger MP1800 accomplishes its job and does it well. We just wish an important part wasn't missing.

  • HTC Touch Dual (Unlocked)
The HTC Touch Dual offers more functionality and ease of use with the addition of Windows Mobile 6.1 and a tactile keyboard to make it one of the most compact and powerful touch-screen smartphones, but we'd still like to see the inclusion of Wi-Fi or GPS, especially for the price.

  • Samsung Instinct
The Samsung Instinct stands out as one of Sprint's finest devices to date. It's just too bad its call quality could use some improvement.

  • Samsung Slash (Virgin Mobile)
The Samsung Slash is a decent entry-level phone with a few extra features that put it just above a basic handset.

  • RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Verizon Wireless)
Though we wish the smartphone supported Verizon's VCast multimedia services, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 is still an excellent smartphone that delivers on call quality and of course, e-mail.

  • RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 (Sprint)
Despite some spotty call quality, the RIM BlackBerry Curve 8330 for Sprint is a great messaging device with the bonus of EV-DO and integrated GPS. Plus, it offers more services than the Verizon BlackBerry Curve.

  • Samsung Access SGH-A827 (AT&T)
Though it offers a new AT&T feature, the Samsung Access isn't a compelling alternative to the flashier LG Vu.

Verizon Wireless XV6900 is a stunning smartphone with a cool touch interface and generally good performance, but the Sprint version offers a slightly better value for your money.
