Fascinating: Kirk to interview Spock tomorrow
Filed under: Celebrities, Talk Show, Reality-Free Has anyone been watching William Shatner's talk show Raw Nerve? I swore to myself that I would watch it when it premiered, but it's on The Biography Channel, and sometimes when we're talking about those channels that get up to 105 or 144 or 170 on your cable system, you forget that the show is on. Heck, I'm not even sure I even get The Biography Channel on my cable system since they started taking away and adding channels in my package last year. But if I do have it I'm going to check out tomorrow's episode for sure.

Top TV Stories of 2008: The election - VIDEOS
Filed under: News, OpEd, Festivus, Celebrities, Reality-Free What was the top TV story of the year? The choice was obvious to all of us, and probably all of you, too: The election. The 2008 race for the White House was not only historic, it was dramatic and played out more on TV with recognizable star personas than any election in recent memory.
And like a great TV show, it was a season-long run of highs and lows, tension and release, defeat and victory. Along the way, Americans made a choice about who will run the country for the next four...

Montel Williams hawks worthless Obama coins
Filed under: OpEd, Commercials, Celebrities, Reality-Free I always had mixed feelings about Montel Williams and his now-defunct talk show. Sure, the show had its sleazy moments, but overall, he seemed to proceed in a more dignified way than most of his daytime talk brethren. I also admired him for his very public battle with MS and his advocacy to raise awareness of the disease. It seemed like Montel was set to transition to a post-show career that was at the very least not going to be embarrassing.
Then I saw him on an ad promoting one of those awful coins that commemorate Barack...

Kathy Griffin talks about dick on New Year's Eve (and we don't mean Clark) - VIDEO
Filed under: Video, Celebrities, Reality-Free When you put someone like Kathy Griffin, known for her racy, edgy, rather blunt humor, on a live broadcast from a Times Square filled with drunken hecklers, well, you know you're going to get at least one controversial moment. There were actually several moments like that on CNN last night, but only one that got the attention of the CNN censors.
During the live New Year's Eve coverage featuring Anderson Cooper/Griffin (they're not Martin and Lewis, but they're entertaining in their own way), Griffin was being heckled off-camera by someone in the crowd. As Cooper went to commercial, Griffin grabbed one of...
